We are excited to announce the 

New 2008 Cooking Classes.  They are as follows:

Rathbun's interactive cooking class takes you to the heart of the kitchen.  Feel the passion, feel the heat, and get ready to experience the reality of the cooking.

We don't have recipes.  We don't have rules....We begin from scratch and we decide on the dishes upon your arrival. 

We look in the walk-in and decide what is available and begin creating the dish with the cooking theme in mind. For three hours, you prepare the ingredients and get ready to make the dish. 

You're in the kitchen, not in the seat.... We provide the excitement, the knowledge and the fun inside of the kitchen. You learn about the food, the fun and what drives the kitchen to be the best. Passion from the heart!

Four teams of three people create their dishes from scratch, and then return at the end with their guest for a complete dinner with wine pairings.  Each team will then prepare their dinner and then sit down to dine on their accomplishments. Classes begin at 1:30 and go to 4:30.  At 4:30, your guest arrives and you begin serving them appetizers and wine pairings.  Dinner then begins at 5:00 p.m. and ends at about 7:00 p.m.

Cost is $350.00 per person

(Includes 1 person in the class, and 1 guest for dinner),

Interactive cooking classes at their best

Due to the high demand of these classes, Payment is done in advance and 

You will receive a gift card in the amount of the class.  

The gift card will have to be presented on the day of the class. 

 

If you would like to purchase a gift card in the amount of the cooking class, you can call the restaurant and they will mail you the card.  Your recipient will then be able to join up for a class at their leisure or use the card for dining at our restaurants.

Caribbean Cuisine

Chef Kevin will introduce you to a variety of spices and ingredients that will include "jerk" and spiced foods with chicken, duck, meats, and we cannot forget..the desserts of the Caribbean.  This is a first, and will surely be a fun class.

Grilling & Smoking

This has been such a highly anticipated class, we could not take it out of the lineup.  Grilled and smoked foods are Chef Kevin's favorite pastime and this class will not let you down. Watch Chef Kevin as he used his Brinkman smoker to slow roast meats of all kinds.

Italian

Another First class for Chef Kevin.  He will take you to the foods that he remembers from traveling throughout Italy.  Simple ingredients that make a tasty difference. Ingredients like garlic, garden tomato, oregano, and extra virgin olive oils. And the desserts will leave you with something to remember. After this class, you will hope that the next restaurant that Chef Kevin opens will be Italian!
